Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Beef:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Flatbreads:

  • 4 flatbreads or naan
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives, halved
  • 2 cups fresh greens (arugula, spinach, or mixed)

For the Dill Lemon Honey Feta Cream:

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and translucent. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Stir in cumin, smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 more minutes.
  2. Prepare the Feta Cream: In a small bowl, whisk together feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, honey, dill, and olive oil until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Flatbreads: Warm flatbreads lightly in a skillet or oven. Spread a generous layer of dill lemon honey feta cream on each flatbread. Top with cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and fresh greens.
  4. Serve: Drizzle extra feta cream over the top if desired. Serve immediately while flatbread is warm and crispy on the edges.
