Pears:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored

Toppings:

  • 80g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare the pears: Halve and core the pears. Place them cut-side up in a baking dish. Sprinkle each pear with cinnamon.
  3. Add toppings: Fill the center of each pear half with crumbled feta and dried cranberries. Drizzle ¾ of the honey over the pears. Sprinkle chopped nuts if using, and finish with a pinch of black pepper.
  4. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until pears are tender but still hold their shape.
