Pears:
- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
Toppings:
- 80g feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 180°C (350°F).
- Prepare the pears: Halve and core the pears. Place them cut-side up in a baking dish. Sprinkle each pear with cinnamon.
- Add toppings: Fill the center of each pear half with crumbled feta and dried cranberries. Drizzle ¾ of the honey over the pears. Sprinkle chopped nuts if using, and finish with a pinch of black pepper.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until pears are tender but still hold their shape.
- Serve: Drizzle the remaining honey over baked pears before serving. Serve warm as a dessert or a sweet-savory appetizer.
