For the Baked Pears
- 3 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Filling
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 tablespoon honey
Honey Glaze
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Optional Garnish
- Fresh thyme leaves
- Extra crumbled feta
- Chopped pistachios
- Light drizzle of warm honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Pears Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the pears in half lengthwise, scoop out the core, and place on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
- Add the Filling Mix feta, cranberries, walnuts, and honey. Fill each pear half with the mixture.
- Bake Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until tender.
- Make the Honey Glaze Heat honey, lemon juice, zest, cinnamon, and salt on low until smooth.
- Serve Drizzle pears with honey glaze, garnish with thyme, feta, pistachios, and serve warm.
