Description

Billion Dollar Buttery Biscuits are rich, fluffy, and irresistibly soft biscuits that melt in your mouth. Made with just four simple ingredients—Bisquick, sour cream, butter, and 7-Up—these golden biscuits are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or alongside your favorite comfort meals.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter

  • 4 1/2 cups Bisquick or similar baking mix

  • 1 cup 7-Up or lemon-lime soda

  • 1 cup sour cream (do not use light sour cream)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it melt in the oven as it preheats.

  • Mix Dough: In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, sour cream, and 7-Up until just mixed. The dough will be soft and sticky.

  • Shape Biscuits: Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently pat it out. Cut into biscuit rounds using a cutter or glass.

  • Bake: Place biscuits into the melted butter in the baking dish. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.

  • Serve: Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use full-fat sour cream for best texture.

  • You can add shredded cheese or herbs for a flavor twist.

  • These biscuits reheat well and can be frozen after baking.
