For the Toasts
- 4 slices crusty bread (sourdough or artisan loaf)
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 burrata balls
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Spicy Maple Drizzle
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp chili flakes or chili paste (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

- Fresh basil leaves
- Microgreens
- Cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Toast the bread: Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
- Prepare avocado spread: Mash the avocado with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread evenly over the warm toast.
- Add burrata: Tear the burrata into large pieces and place over the avocado layer.
- Make spicy maple drizzle: Warm the maple syrup in a pan over low heat. Stir in chili flakes and vinegar or lemon juice. Remove from heat and drizzle over the burrata toasts.
- Finish and serve: Top with fresh basil, microgreens, or cracked black pepper if desired. Serve immediately.
