Ingredients

1 rustic baguette or Italian loaf, sliced (1/2-inch thick)

2-3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, peeled

1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, whole or sliced

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

3 tbsp balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions

Prepare the Bread:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
