Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prepare the Brownie Base:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper.

    • Melt butter and mix with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth.

    • Stir in cocoa, flour, and salt until just combined.

    • Spread into prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly.

  • Make the Cheesecake Filling:

    • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

    • Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and sour cream until combined.

    • Pour over baked brownie base.

    • Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45–50 minutes until center is set. Cool completely.

  • Prepare Caramel Topping:

    • In a saucepan, melt sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it turns amber.

    • Add butter and mix until melted. Carefully stir in heavy cream and a pinch of salt.

    • Let cool slightly, then pour over cooled cheesecake.

  • Chill and Serve:

    • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing.

    • Optional: garnish with extra caramel drizzle or chocolate shavings.
