Description

These cherry streusel cookies are soft, buttery, and topped with a crunchy crumble and a sweet cherry glaze. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped cherries
  • 1/2 cup streusel topping (flour, sugar, butter mix)

 

  • 1/2 cup cherry glaze

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla.
  • Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in chopped cherries.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and top each cookie with streusel.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden.

 

  • Drizzle with cherry glaze and let cool.

Notes

  • You can substitute cherries with raspberries or cranberries.
