Description

These thick, chewy cookie bars are loaded with chocolate chips and colorful candy-coated chocolates—an easy, crowd-pleasing treat perfect for parties and bake sales.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

 

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13″ pan with parchment.

  • In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.

  • Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and candies.

  • Press dough into pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.

 

  • Cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

You can add chopped nuts or peanut butter chips for extra flavor and crunch.
