Description

This Chocolate Drizzle Strawberry Dream Ice Cream is a creamy, no-churn treat bursting with real strawberries and swirled with sweet vanilla. Topped with a rich chocolate drizzle, it’s the perfect homemade dessert to beat the heat—no ice cream maker required!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for the strawberries)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for drizzle)

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for silky drizzle)

Instructions

  • Make the Strawberry Purée:

    • In a saucepan, cook strawberries and sugar over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until softened.

    • Mash with a fork or blend until smooth. Let cool completely.

  • Whip the Cream:

    • In a chilled bowl, beat heavy whipping cream to stiff peaks. Set aside.

  • Mix the Ice Cream Base:

    • In another bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and the cooled strawberry purée.

    • Gently fold in the whipped cream with a spatula until well blended.

  • Freeze:

    • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Smooth the surface and cover tightly.

    • Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.

  • Prepare the Chocolate Drizzle:

    • Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil or butter (if using) in a microwave or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.

  • Drizzle and Serve:

    • Once the ice cream is fully set, drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.

    • Enjoy immediately or return to the freezer to firm up the chocolate.

Notes

  • Use ripe, sweet strawberries for best flavor.

  • Add crushed cookies, chocolate chips, or strawberry chunks for extra texture.

  • Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
