For the Cinnamon Swirl:

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in 3 parts, alternating with the buttermilk in 2 parts. Begin and end with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until combined.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon half the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter. Use a knife to gently swirl it through.
Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon mixture. Swirl again for a beautiful marbled effect.
Sprinkle the 1 tablespoon granulated sugar evenly on top for a crunchy finish.
Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
-
