These Classic Tiramisu Cups are a delightful twist on the traditional Italian dessert, featuring layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone filling, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Served in individual cups, they are perfect for parties and gatherings!

Mascarpone Filling:
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coffee Mixture:
- 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Other Ingredients:
- 12–15 ladyfingers (savoiardi)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)
- Dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the coffee mixture: Mix espresso, sugar, and coffee liqueur (if using). Let cool.
- Make the mascarpone filling: Beat mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
- Assemble the cups: Break ladyfingers into pieces and dip them quickly into the coffee mixture. Layer them at the bottom of small serving cups.
- Add the filling: Spoon or pipe a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers. Repeat the layers until the cups are full.
- Chill & serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- Use decaf coffee if serving to kids.
- For extra flavor, add a hint of cinnamon to the cocoa powder.
- Can be made a day ahead for even better flavor.
