Description

This classic tiramisu is creamy, rich, and filled with layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, finished with cocoa powder.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup brewed espresso
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 ladyfingers

 

  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  • Mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla.
  • Whip heavy cream and fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  • Dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer in a dish.
  • Spread mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat layers.

 

  • Chill for 4 hours, dust with cocoa, and serve.

Notes

  • Use decaf espresso for a caffeine-free version.
