- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 3 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 24 ladyfingers
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Mix brewed coffee with coffee liqueur and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar over a double boiler until thick. Let cool.
- Fold in mascarpone cheese, then gently fold in whipped cream.
- Dip ladyfingers in the coffee mixture and layer them in a dish. Spread half the mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat layers.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

- Letting the tiramisu chill overnight enhances the flavors.
