Description

This Cookies and Cream Ice Cream is ultra-creamy and packed with crunchy chunks of chocolate sandwich cookies. Made with simple ingredients and churned to perfection, it’s the ultimate homemade frozen treat for cookie lovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (227g) whole milk, cold

  • 1/2 cup (99g) granulated sugar

  • 2 cups (454g) heavy cream or whipping cream, cold

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Crush (or vanilla extract)

  • 15 to 20 (170g to 255g) chocolate sandwich cookies, broken into chunks

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cold milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.

  • Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla.

  • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour for best results.

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, stir in the broken cookie pieces.

  • Serve immediately for a soft texture, or transfer to a lidded container and freeze for 2–3 hours for a firmer consistency.

  • If frozen longer, allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes before scooping

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate sandwich cookies for the best flavor.

  • For extra cookie crunch, reserve a handful of cookie chunks to press into the top after freezing.

  • Store ice cream in a tightly sealed container to prevent freezer burn.
