Cheese Tortellini:
- 1 lb (450 g) cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
Garlic Butter Beef:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Cream Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups fresh spinach
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package instructions until tender. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add Garlic Butter: Reduce heat slightly. Add butter and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Make the Cream Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add Spinach & Cheese: Stir in fresh spinach and Parmesan cheese. Cook until spinach wilts and the sauce is creamy.
- Combine with Tortellini: Add cooked tortellini to the skillet. Toss gently until everything is coated in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
- Serve: Serve warm, topped with extra Parmesan if desired.
