Ingredients

Units Scale

Cheese Tortellini:

  • 1 lb (450 g) cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)

Garlic Butter Beef:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Cream Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package instructions until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add Garlic Butter: Reduce heat slightly. Add butter and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Make the Cream Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add Spinach & Cheese: Stir in fresh spinach and Parmesan cheese. Cook until spinach wilts and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Combine with Tortellini: Add cooked tortellini to the skillet. Toss gently until everything is coated in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
  7. Serve: Serve warm, topped with extra Parmesan if desired.
