- 2 tbsp butter or oil for frying
Instructions
- Squeeze excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a bowl, mix potatoes, cheese, egg, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the pan, flattening slightly.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with sour cream or dipping sauce.
