Chicken:
- 600 g chicken breast or thighs (sliced or cutlets)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Hot Honey Lemon Sauce:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1–2 tsp chili flakes
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
Feta Finish:
- 100 g feta cheese (crumbled)
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare chicken: Slice chicken into even cutlets.
- Set up breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in second, and panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in third.
- Coat chicken: Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, then press into seasoned panko until fully coated.
- Fry chicken: Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towel.
- Make hot honey lemon sauce: Melt butter in a pan, add honey, chili flakes, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until combined and slightly thickened.
- Assemble: Drizzle hot honey lemon sauce over crispy chicken. Sprinkle crumbled feta on top and garnish with parsley.
- Serve: Serve hot and crispy.
