1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup chopped candied fruit

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the creamed butter mixture.

Fold in the candied fruit, nuts, raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly distributed.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
