Description

These Decadent Chocolate Chip Blondies are rich, buttery, and gooey with pockets of melty chocolate chips in every bite. Quick and easy to whip up, they’re perfect for weeknight desserts, potlucks, or cozy afternoons with a cup of coffee or milk.


Ingredients

Blondie Batter:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare Pan:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  • Mix Wet Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

    • Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.

  • Add Dry Ingredients:

    • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

    • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture just until combined.

  • Add Chocolate Chips:

    • Fold in chocolate chips evenly.

  • Bake:

    • Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.

    • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.

  • Cool & Serve:

    • Let cool for 20 minutes in the pan before slicing into 16 squares.

    • Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For chewier blondies, slightly underbake and let them finish setting as they cool.

  • Swap chocolate chips for white chocolate, butterscotch chips, or nuts for a twist.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
