Description

These Decadent Chocolate Ganache Cupcakes are rich, moist, and filled with a silky chocolate ganache. Topped with creamy frosting, they’re the ultimate indulgence for any chocolate lover!


Ingredients

For the cupcakes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the ganache filling:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz dark chocolate (chopped)

For the frosting:

 

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • Make batter: In another bowl, mix sugar, oil, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients.
  • Bake: Fill liners ¾ full and bake for 18-20 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Make ganache: Heat cream, pour over chocolate, stir until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  • Fill cupcakes: Use a piping tip or knife to remove a small center of each cupcake and fill with ganache.

 

  • Make frosting: Beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, and milk until fluffy. Frost cupcakes.

Notes

  • Use a piping bag for a neater ganache filling.
  • Top with chocolate shavings or sprinkles for extra flair!
