Description

This Decadent Strawberry Chocolate Fantasy Ice Cream Cake is the ultimate celebration dessert, layering moist chocolate cake, creamy vanilla and chocolate ice creams, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of melted chocolate and hot fudge. It’s indulgent, refreshing, and absolutely unforgettable!


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, melted

  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate ice cream, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce

  • 1 cup whipped cream (for topping)


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cake

  1. Preheat oven per package instructions.

  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.

  3. Prepare and bake the chocolate cake mix as directed.

  4. Cool completely in pans before removing.

Step 2: Melt the Chocolate

  1. Microwave chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  2. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3: Mix the Ice Cream

  1. In a bowl, combine softened vanilla ice cream with powdered sugar.

  2. In another bowl, do the same with chocolate ice cream.

Step 4: Assemble the First Layer

  1. Place one cake layer on a serving plate.

  2. Spread vanilla ice cream evenly over it.

  3. Top with half of the strawberries and drizzle with half of the melted chocolate.

Step 5: Add the Second Layer

  1. Place the second cake layer on top.

  2. Spread chocolate ice cream over it.

  3. Add remaining strawberries and drizzle with remaining melted chocolate.

Step 6: Finish and Freeze

  1. Spread whipped cream over the top.

  2. Drizzle hot fudge sauce on top.

  3. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until set.

Step 7: Serve

  • Slice with a hot knife for clean edges and enjoy!

  • Use strawberry or white chocolate chips for a twist.

  • Let cake sit at room temp for 5–10 mins before slicing.
