Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, melted

1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened

1 1/2 cups chocolate ice cream, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 cup hot fudge sauce

1 cup whipped cream (for topping)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cake

Preheat oven per package instructions.

Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.

Prepare and bake the chocolate cake mix as directed.

Cool completely in pans before removing.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate

Microwave chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Set aside to cool slightly.
Step 3: Mix the Ice Cream

In a bowl, combine softened vanilla ice cream with powdered sugar.

In another bowl, do the same with chocolate ice cream.
Step 4: Assemble the First Layer

Place one cake layer on a serving plate.

Spread vanilla ice cream evenly over it.

Top with half of the strawberries and drizzle with half of the melted chocolate.
Step 5: Add the Second Layer

Place the second cake layer on top.

Spread chocolate ice cream over it.

Add remaining strawberries and drizzle with remaining melted chocolate.
Step 6: Finish and Freeze

Spread whipped cream over the top.

Drizzle hot fudge sauce on top.
