Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 Golden Oreos, crushed
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crushed Golden Oreos, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Scoop small portions and roll them into balls. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, milk, and egg to create a batter.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 350°F (175°C).
  • Dip each cheesecake bite into the batter and carefully place it in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.

  • Remove and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Freezing the cheesecake balls helps them hold their shape while frying.

  • Serve with caramel or chocolate drizzle for extra flavor!
