Description

This Honey Pepper Chicken with Creamy Garlic Butter Pasta is the ultimate comfort food combo—sweet and savory glazed chicken served over a rich and velvety garlic butter pasta. It’s easy to make, full of flavor, and perfect for cozy weeknights or special dinners at home.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Pasta:

  • 1 lb pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite)

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add chicken, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  • Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook marinated chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  • Cook the Pasta: While chicken cooks, boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.

  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed.

  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Top with the cooked honey pepper chicken and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for a veggie boost.

  • Adjust honey and pepper to taste for a sweet-spicy balance.
