Ingredients
For the Chicken:
-
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
-
2 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
-
1 tbsp paprika
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Pasta:
-
1 lb pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite)
-
4 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/2 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add chicken, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
-
Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook marinated chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
-
Cook the Pasta: While chicken cooks, boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
-
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed.
-
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Top with the cooked honey pepper chicken and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
-
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
