This Easy Tuna Sausage (Saucisson de Thon) is a fun, original idea for an appetizer that’s sure to impress. Simple to make and full of flavor, this tender tuna roll slices beautifully and pairs perfectly with bread or crackers for a crowd-pleasing starter.


Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 400 g canned tuna in water (drained)

  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

  • Salt, to taste

  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions

Prepare the mixture: In a bowl, flake the drained tuna. Add eggs, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and parsley. Mix well until combined.

2️⃣ Season: Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the mixture is uniform.

3️⃣ Shape the sausage: Place the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and form into a log. Wrap tightly, twisting the ends to seal.

4️⃣ Cook: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Lower the tuna sausage into the water and simmer for about 20 minutes.

5️⃣ Finish and serve: Let cool before unwrapping. Slice into rounds and serve on a platter with bread or crackers.
