Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set.

 

  • Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For extra gooey cookies, slightly underbake them.
