Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Chicken – Pat dry the chicken breasts and season them with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  • Make Garlic Butter – In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic.
  • Coat the Chicken – Brush the garlic butter mixture over the chicken breasts.
  • Add Parmesan Topping – In another bowl, mix grated parmesan, breadcrumbs (if using), oregano, and basil. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Bake – Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If desired, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end for a crispy golden top.
  • Garnish & Serve – Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra juiciness, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for an hour before cooking.
  • Serve with roasted asparagus, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad for a complete Easter meal.
  • If using bone-in chicken, adjust cooking time to 35-40 minutes.
