Description

These Gooey S’mores Chocolate Cupcakes bring the classic campfire treat into a rich, moist chocolate cupcake with melted marshmallow and gooey chocolate filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff

 

  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add milk and dry ingredients gradually.
  • Stir in crushed graham crackers.
  • Fill liners ¾ full and bake for 18 minutes. Let cool.
  • Cut a small hole in each cupcake and fill with marshmallow fluff and melted chocolate.

 

  • Top with more marshmallow and toast lightly with a kitchen torch.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
