For the Cupcakes:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup hot water

For the Grape Frosting:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp grape juice concentrate
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Purple food coloring (optional)
- Fresh grapes for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with liners.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Add egg, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well, then slowly add hot water.
- Fill cupcake liners ¾ full and bake for 18-20 minutes. Let cool.
- For the frosting, beat butter until fluffy, then add powdered sugar, grape juice, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Add purple food coloring if desired. Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes and top with fresh grapes.

- Use grape extract instead of juice for a stronger flavor.
