For the Chicken:
- 400g boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Wraps:
- 4 large pita breads or wraps
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
For the Mint Yogurt Sauce:
- 120g Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken: Toss chicken with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Make the mint yogurt: In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, chopped mint, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble the wraps: Warm the pita breads. Spread mint yogurt sauce on each, then add lettuce, cucumber, onion, tomatoes, and sliced chicken.
- Wrap and serve: Fold or roll tightly and serve immediately.
