  • 1 cup lettuce or arugula

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C). Let rest, then slice into strips.
  3. Prepare the Whipped Garlic Feta Cream: In a small bowl, combine feta, Greek yogurt (or cream cheese), garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and olive oil. Whip until smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Pitas: Warm the pita breads slightly. Spread a generous layer of whipped garlic feta cream inside each pita. Add sliced chicken, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce.
