Mezze Components

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers
  • 1/4 cup hummus
  • 1/4 cup tzatziki or Greek yogurt
  • Warm pita bread or flatbread

Balsamic Drizzle

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley or mint, chopped
  • Extra olive oil for finishing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Balsamic Drizzle – In a small saucepan, gently warm balsamic vinegar and honey over low heat for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside.
  2. Grill the Halloumi – Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Brush halloumi slices lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and black pepper. Grill 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  3. Assemble the Mezze Platter – Arrange grilled halloumi on a large serving platter. Surround with cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, olives, roasted red peppers, hummus, and tzatziki.
  4. Finish & Serve – Drizzle halloumi lightly with the balsamic drizzle. Garnish with fresh herbs and a touch of olive oil. Serve immediately with warm pita or flatbread.
