Description

These Grilled Lobster Tails with Crispy Fries and Creamy Sauce are an indulgent yet easy-to-make surf-style meal. Perfectly seasoned lobster tails are grilled and served with golden oven-baked fries and a zesty dipping sauce for a luxurious seafood dinner.

Ingredients

For the Lobster Tails:

  • 2 large lobster tails, split in half

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

For the Fries:

  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Fries:
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Toss potato fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

2. Grill the Lobster Tails:
Preheat grill to medium-high.
Mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
Brush lobster tails with the butter mixture.
Grill lobster flesh-side down for 4–5 minutes, then flip and grill shell-side down for another 3–4 minutes, until meat is opaque and lightly charred.
Garnish with chopped parsley.

3. Make the Creamy Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and hot sauce (if using) until smooth.

4. Serve:
Plate the grilled lobster tails with crispy fries on the side. Serve with the creamy dipping sauce.

Notes

You can air-fry the potatoes for a quicker, lower-oil version. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon over the lobster just before serving for extra brightness.
