For the Beef
- 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil or olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Garnish
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef strips and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the beef. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve hot.
