Description

This refreshing Key Lime Pie Trifle layers creamy lime cheesecake filling with buttery graham cracker crumbs and fluffy whipped cream. Served in a glass bowl or individual cups, it’s a no-bake, crowd-pleasing dessert perfect for warm weather or any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

  • Zest of 2 limes

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1 package (10 oz) graham crackers, crushed

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 cup fresh whipped cream (for topping)

  • Lime slices and extra zest (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  • In another bowl, beat heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

  • In a small bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter until evenly mixed.

  • To assemble the trifle, layer the graham cracker mixture at the bottom of a large glass bowl or individual trifle cups.

  • Spoon a layer of the lime cream mixture over the graham cracker crust. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.

  • Garnish with lime slices and extra lime zest.

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld and the trifle to set.

Notes

  • Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.

  • For extra crunch, reserve some graham cracker crumbs for topping.

  • Can be prepared a day ahead for convenience.
