Description

Ingredients

  • 2 packets (0.13 oz each) Kool-Aid powder (any flavor)

  • 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin

  • 1/2 cup cold water

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup

  • Gummy bear molds

  • (Optional) Edible shimmer dust for sparkle


Instructions

  • Bloom the gelatin: Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a bowl. Let sit 5–7 minutes until thickened.

  • Prepare the syrup: In a saucepan, mix sugar and corn syrup over medium heat. Stir until clear and fully dissolved. Let cool slightly.

  • Combine ingredients: Stir bloomed gelatin into the syrup until fully melted. Add Kool-Aid powder and mix until smooth and uniform.

  • Fill molds: Quickly fill gummy molds using a dropper or small spoon.

  • Let set: Leave at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 25–30 minutes until firm.

  • Optional sparkle: Once set, dust with edible shimmer for a glittery effect.
