Description

These Mediterranean Ground Turkey Wraps are a flavorful and satisfying meal featuring a spiced ground turkey filling, topped with a creamy hot honey feta sauce, and wrapped in a soft flatbread with fresh veggies.

Turkey Filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint

Hot Honey Feta Cream:

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust for spice)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Assembly:

  • 4 large flatbreads or tortillas
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Sliced tomato
  • Red onion slices
  • Fresh greens (lettuce, arugula, or spinach)

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Stir in spices, salt, pepper, tomato paste, and broth; simmer until thickened. Stir in parsley and mint.
  2. Make the hot honey feta cream: Combine feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice; whip until smooth.
  3. Assemble the wraps: Spread hot honey feta cream on each flatbread. Add turkey mixture, cucumber, tomato, onion, and greens. Roll tightly and slice in half.
