- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the Pasta:
- Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Mushrooms:
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
- Add garlic and sauté for another minute.

- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan, black pepper, and nutmeg. Let the sauce thicken.
