Units Scale

For the chicken:

  • 1 whole rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the bowtie Alfredo:

  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until tender with a slight bite. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a skillet, melt butter, add garlic, then toss in shredded rotisserie chicken, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, pour in heavy cream, simmer, add cream cheese, then stir in mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan until creamy.
  4. Combine and serve: Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss gently, adding pasta water if needed. Serve Alfredo topped with Cajun chicken, parsley, and Parmesan.
