For the Ground Chicken
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Spicy Lemon Honey Feta Cream
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
For the Wraps
- 4 large pita breads or flatbreads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta (optional topping)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the ground chicken – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Season and brown the chicken – Add ground chicken to the skillet, cook for 6–8 minutes until browned.
- Add Mediterranean spices – Stir in paprika, oregano, cumin, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Finish with lemon – Add lemon juice, mix well, and set aside.
- Prepare the spicy feta cream – Combine all cream ingredients in a bowl and mix until creamy.
- Warm the bread – Heat pita or flatbread in a skillet or oven until warm.
- Assemble the wraps – Spread cream on each wrap, add chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion.
- Finish and serve – Top with extra feta and parsley, fold wraps, and serve.
