Description

Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce is a flavorful and satisfying dinner featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in a crisp Parmesan crust and topped with a rich, velvety garlic cream sauce. An easy yet elegant meal perfect for weeknights or entertaining.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness. In one shallow dish, combine flour, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat the egg.

  • Coat and Cook:
Dip chicken in egg, then dredge in flour-Parmesan mixture. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.

  • Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in cream, simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan and season with salt and pepper.

  • Serve:
Spoon creamy garlic sauce over chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F.

  • Add a splash of chicken broth if the sauce gets too thick.

  • Pairs well with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
