Description

This peanut butter mousse cake features a creamy peanut butter mousse on a rich chocolate cookie crust, topped with a drizzle of caramel and dollops of whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

  • Caramel sauce and whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  • Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into a cake pan. Chill.
  • Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, mix cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Fold in whipped cream.
  • Pour mousse over the crust and chill for 4 hours.

 

  • Drizzle caramel and garnish with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

  • For a firmer mousse, chill overnight.
  • Use natural peanut butter for a lighter texture.
