Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a pie dish. -
Cook the Sausage:
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. -
Make the Gravy:
Stir in flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook and stir until thickened, about 5 minutes. -
Assemble the Pie:
Cut biscuit dough into smaller pieces and arrange in the bottom of the pie dish. Pour sausage gravy over the top. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, if using. -
