-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
-
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
-
1/2 cup sour cream
-
1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
1 teaspoon dried thyme
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini recommended)
-
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
-
Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
-
Stir in mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until tender and moisture is released.
-
Mix in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, heavy cream, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Fold in cooked pasta and stir to coat evenly with the sauce.
-
Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
-
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
-
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
-
Add spinach or frozen peas for extra veggies.
-
Make it ahead and refrigerate—just increase baking time slightly if chilled.
