Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or an 8×8-inch cake pan.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
