Ingredients

3 1/2 cups bread flour

2 1/4 tsp instant yeast

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar

1 cup warm water

1 tbsp olive oil

Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water)

Sesame seeds, thyme, rosemary (for topping)
Instructions

Mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually add warm water and knead.

Cover dough and let rise 1 hour.

Divide and shape into bagels. Boil each for 1 minute per side.

Place on baking sheet, brush with egg wash, sprinkle toppings.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 mins until golden.
