Description

These heart-shaped strawberry puff pastry treats are light, flaky, and filled with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, finished with a drizzle of chocolate and powdered sugar. A perfect romantic dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (plus extra for dusting)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

 

  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut hearts: Roll out puff pastry and cut out heart shapes. Place on the baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  • Make the filling: Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  • Assemble: Slice the pastry hearts in half, spread whipped cream, layer strawberry slices, and top with the other half.

 

  • Decorate: Drizzle with melted chocolate and dust with powdered sugar.
