Ingredients

For the Brownie Base:

  • 1 (18 oz) box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as per package)

  • Bake and cool completely

For the Cookie Dough Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For the Cherry Filling:

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

  • Maraschino cherries, patted dry (stems removed)

For the Coating:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate candy melts

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

  • Chocolate drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  • Bake the Brownies:

    • Prepare brownies per package instructions in a 9×13” pan. Cool completely.

    • Crumble into fine crumbs using your hands or a food processor.

  • Make the Cookie Dough:

    • Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.

    • Mix in milk and vanilla extract.

    • Add heat-treated flour, then stir until smooth. Fold in mini chocolate chips.

    • Chill dough for 10–15 minutes for easier handling.

  • Assemble the Bombs:

    • Take a tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten slightly. Add a maraschino cherry or a small spoon of cherry pie filling to the center.

    • Wrap cookie dough around the cherry to seal it.

    • Take some brownie crumbles and press them around the cookie dough ball until fully covered.

    • Roll into a smooth ball and place on a lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

  • Coat the Bombs:

    • Melt chocolate chips or candy melts with coconut oil until smooth.

    • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, then place back on the tray.

    • Optional: drizzle with more chocolate for decoration.

    • Chill in the fridge until set.

Notes

  • Heat-treat flour in the microwave or oven to make it safe for no-bake use.

  • Use a toothpick or fork to dip balls for a cleaner finish.

  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
