For the Ground Lamb
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Spicy Lemon Honey Feta Cream
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
For the Flatbreads
- 4 flatbreads or naan
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the ground lamb – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Brown the lamb – Add ground lamb and cook for 7–9 minutes until browned.
- Season the meat – Stir in paprika, cumin, oregano, coriander, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add lemon for brightness – Stir in lemon juice and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Prepare the spicy feta cream – Combine all feta cream ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth.
- Warm the flatbreads – Heat flatbreads in a skillet or oven for 1–2 minutes.
- Assemble the flatbreads – Spread feta cream on flatbreads, add lamb, top with veggies.
- Finish and serve – Sprinkle extra feta and parsley over flatbreads, slice if desired, and serve.
