For the Flatbread
- 1 prepared flatbread or naan (~10–12 inch)
- 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced or torn
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
For the Cranberry Glaze
- 3 tbsp cranberry sauce or pureed cranberries
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Optional Garnish
- Fresh thyme or rosemary
- Cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Assemble the flatbread: Place flatbread on baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Arrange Brie slices evenly, then layer pear slices on top. Sprinkle toasted pecans over the flatbread.
- Bake: Bake 8–12 minutes until flatbread is crisp and Brie is melted.
- Prepare the glaze: While flatbread bakes, warm cranberry sauce with honey and lemon juice in a small pan until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Finish & serve: Drizzle cranberry glaze over the baked flatbread. Garnish with fresh thyme and cracked black pepper. Slice and serve warm.
